Lens is seeking for a company/consultant (legal entity) with extensive knowledge of Kosovo labor law and a good knowledge of business sector, to conduct a study which will analyze needs of lawyers and institutions that provide legal assistance for violations of workers’ rights. The activity will consist of a qualitative research using different methods. The results will be used for the needs of the Promoting Decent Work through Strengthening OSH Management and Social Dialogue in Kosovo,” funded by Swedish International Development Agency, and lead by UNOPS. Lens is one of the Kosovo partners in this project.

It will also work to improve the human, organizational and technical capacities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and Labor Inspectorate in order to facilitate the improvement of overall workers’ rights and working conditions through the promotion of equal opportunities for men and women for decent work and safe workplaces.

This activity will be conducted in the period between February and March 2021 and it will be focused on the all regions of Kosovo.

The ideal company/candidate (legal entity) would meet the criteria below:

  • Master’s degree in development studies, economics, sociology, law or other related field. A first level university degree in combination with relevant experience may be accepted in line of the advanced university degree;
  • A minimum of four years of progressive experience in in the field of workers’ rights and good knowledge of the private sector in Kosovo;
  • Proven experience collaboration with EU, the UN, or other international agencies is desirable;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Albanian is required. Knowledge of Serbian is desirable;
