Lens is implementing the “Promotion of Diversity and Social Inclusion through Innovation” project, funded through a U.S. Embassy, Pristina. This project aims to encourage youth from different ethnic backgrounds to become active citizens and promoters of tolerance, dialogue and social inclusion.
Through this project, young people coming from Peje, Istog, Decan and Kline, will take part in innovative trainings, educational programs and open space discussion, through which they will become active citizens and promoters of inter-ethnic tolerance, dialogue and social inclusion in their communities. To help these youngsters reach their full potential, this project will also equip them with necessary and modern technological skills that will further their skills and help them become local decision makers.
All of these activities and more will be implemented on the newly established HackerSpace, a space for young people to join together, gain skills and work towards a better and more inclusive society.

Expected results of the project:
- Young people of Peje, Istog, Decan and Kline are informed and encouraged to use social innovation and technology as a tool for change and will become promoters of tolerance and diversity.
- Young people of Peje, Istog, Decan and Kline are provided with training and mentorship to increase their competences and skills to develop their own local solutions and promote diversity and tolerance.
- At least one model created that allows young people to engage in public dialogue and stimulate reconciliation.
