Open call for civil society organizations

NGO Lens within the WEB4YES project (Western Balkans Civil Society Organizations for Youth Employment) is organizing a 2 day training for civil society organizations working in the field of youth employment.

The training will focus on 2 parts:

  1. Strategic planning of employment policies and youth entrepreneurship at national level (and in compliance with EU standards)
  2. Develop effective strategies and communication tools for policy advocacy

From this meeting, we expect participants to gain insight into the policy framework for youth employment and entrepreneurship, to gain insight into the opportunities and space where civil society organizations can engage in the process of developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating employing young people and learn to be able to recognize the recommendation that is most important to the local environment in which they operate.

As regards the development of effective advocacy strategies, participants will learn to create the advocacy process in the context of policy development. They will also understand what the most important segments of the advocacy campaign are, and feel confident in their implementation in practice.

Interested organizations should complete the following Google form: https://goo.gl/forms/OA7VhAg2J0osomtD3

The application deadline is open until March 10, 2019.

Training will happen between 25th and 29th of March 2019.
