Since the establishment , Lens is committed to the promotion of the right to privacy and greater protection of personal data in Kosovo . Operating in a grant from the Kosovo Fund for Open Society ( KFOS ) , in March 2012 Lens has published the first analysis related to privacy legislation . This paper serves as a basis for further actions in the field of privacy and updated constantly . The right to know that your personal emails, medical records and bank details are safe and secure. Privacy is essential to human dignity and autonomy in all societies.
The right to privacy is a qualified fundamental human right-meaning that if someone wants to take it away from you, they need to have a damn good reason for doing so.
