LENS is implementing the regional project WEB4YES (Western Balkans Civil Society Organizations for Youth Employment).

This regional initiative is designed in such a way, as to provide innovative cross-sectoral approaches and provide young unemployed citizens with opportunities to improve employability and employment.

The project is also designed to address the challenges of inadequate cooperation between civil society actors and public authorities in the Western Balkans in policy processes and decision-making on the reform process related to youth unemployment.

LENS together with partner organizations is committed to building close cooperation between civil society and decision-makers, where concrete actions will be proposed to improve the situation of young people in terms of employment and entrepreneurship.

Project duration: December 2017 – December 2019

Expected Project Outcomes:

– Publication of four regional surveys addressing the challenges of youth in employment and entrepreneurship

– Increase of civil society capacity in relation to advocacy and addressing youth challenges in employment

– Provision of small regional grants for capacity building of civil society

– Development of a regional aggregation platform of information needed for youth training and employment
