Lens is currently implementing a project about the eParticipation that will provide the key stakeholders and relevant institutions with a project-specific map of CSOs in Kosovo which will present their capacity, organisational structures, goals and mission and their relations with third parties.
The main deliverable from this project is a web-based application to facilitate, enhance and structure the interaction between the citizens and civil society on one end, and government institutions on the other end, on policy and decision-making processes at central level. The aim is to have the open consultations carried out online and with the inclusion of all interested parties. CSOs in Kosovo will register in a unique database to present their capacity, organisational structures, goals and mission and their relations with third parties. Five video training sessions/tutorials will be published and promoted online to serve for capacity building of CSOs and a mentoring scheme will be established to follow up trainings. Series of joint events will be held throughout Kosovo to increase public awareness about the importance of participation and the role of CSOs in policy-making.
